Desert Passage also known as Smith Farms is located right across from the Central Arizona College Maricopa Campus. This community is off of Porter and Bowlin behind the new phase of Glennwilde. It is very close to Walmarts shopping center, Pacana Park, the new Banner Health Center, the new location for City Hall and the Maricopa Police Department. It is a smaller community but it has a lot to offer to the residents more then just being close to a lot of important places.
Desert Passage offers the residents here a beautiful community pool, walking paths, a soccer field, a baseball field, a volleyball court, a basketball court and 2 covered playgrounds throughout the community. It is close to the Legacy, which is one of Maricopa's public charter schools. This community has so much to offer and is a nice family friendly community.
Being so close to all these big places like Walmart, CAC and so much more you would think this would be a community that has a lot of noise and is a busy area. It is not that way at all. Having the entrance off of Bowlin the community is much quieter then you would think. It is always nice to be close to everything but not have to worry about the noise of the busy city life. Desert Passage is an awesome community and the houses within are beautiful.
Desert Passage has a community area that includes a lot of amenities for residents. This area is home to a full size basketball court that is lighted for night play as well. Near the basketball court is a playground, picnic area and the community pool.
Also, over by the basketball court is a danders volleyball court. This area is also lighted for night play and near the playground. In Desert Passage you can also find a soccer field and baseball diamond.
