Rancho El Dorado is one of Maricopa, AZ bigger subdivision communities. I mean it has to be it has a 18 hole championship golf course that runs through the entire community. As we call it here in Maricopa Rancho is at the entrance into Maricopa. Coming off of the 347 turn left and you are greeted by Rancho El Dorados beautiful entrance with the tall trees and green grass. At the end of this beautiful street you are stopped to the view of the beautiful lake that happens to be connected to a community park and the golf course. Rancho El Dorado has a full basketball court and a half court adjacent to the huge community playground. The entrance into this four mile circular community is breathe taking.
As mentioned above Rancho El Dorado is home to one of Maricopa's golf course, The Duke. It is a championship style course that is a Par-72, for all you golfers out there this is a beautiful course that is maintained all year round. The golf course has everything chip areas, putting areas, a driving range and the Duke has a restaurant and a golf club membership program. This course is a public course so you do not have to live in Rancho El Dorado to be able to use it.
Rancho El Dorado is not only home to The Duke Golf Course it also houses two of Maricopa, AZ elementary schools. Santa Rosa Elementary and Pima Butte Elementary are on opposite sides of Rancho. Both of these elementary schools are awesome options for your child. Pima Butte is another A rated school here in Maricopa.
Rancho El Dorado even though it is at the front entrance of Maricopa is still close to everything needed. The public library borders Rancho. Rancho is a five minute drive to Ace, Frys, restaurants and much more. This community is one of the firsts in Maricopa and was a basis for all other communities to build off of.
The entrance to Rancho El Dorado is absolutely beautiful. You are greeted with a long tree covered street to the beautiful lake with the golf course behind it. The lake has benches to sit and enjoy and fountains in the middle spraying up fro a soothing ambience.
Right as you come into Rancho there is a community area that has a full basketball court and half court behind it. These basketball courts are maintained very well for the residents to enjoy.
Also at the front entrance is the largest of the 3 community playgrounds. It is a covered playground which is nice for summer months. This playground includes a hopscotch near the basketball courts, slides and a jungle gym for kids to enjoy.
The Duke golf course is a beautiful 18 hole Championship style golf course. It has putting greens, a driving range, chipping areas and the Duke restaurant. The entire course is open to the public for use as well. The course winds through the center of the Rancho El Dorado 4 mile circle.
Duke Golf course Pro shop offers memberships that come with training and special use of the golf course and driving range. The Pro shop is open to the public to enjoy as well as the residents in the Rancho EL Dorado Community. They have something for everyone.
The playground within the rec center is the biggest out of all the playgrounds in the community and it has a little toddler area as well as the bigger kids playground. This playground not only offers a park but also has a splash pad during the summer months and picnic/BBQ areas for the residents to enjoy. The playground is accessible during the rec center hours which is 4:30am -10:00pm. There are a total of 10 playgrounds throughout the Villages.
