As a local agent, I can say the Villages at Rancho El Dorado is an AWESOME community. It has so much to offer the residents who live within in it. The Villages is one of Maricopa, AZ first communities as you enter Maricopa. As you come into Maricopa, AZ The Villages at Rancho El Dorado is the second community on the left, you cannot miss the huge horse statues as your turn, this shows that you are on the right path to get to the Villages. This community is close to everything Frys Marketplace, restaurants, the entrance into Maricopa, AZ and the golf courses.
The houses and subdivisions within the Villages community are beautiful. The Villages offers a “small town” community feeling with no true street lights just small ones that light small areas of the paths at night. That is not all that is beautiful about the Villages. The Villages has tons of parks, greenbelts with walking trails and a community Rec Center. Also, the Villages is a huge circle that is great for getting exercise via walking your dog, bike riding or however you like to enjoy the fresh air.
As you enter into the community you are greeted with a beautiful view of the entrance lake which backs up to the community area. The community center has a rec room, full gym, a community pool, a heated lap pool, a huge playground with a splash pad and has two basketball courts and 2 tennis court. The rec center, pools, gym and playground are in a gated area that only Villages residents can use. During the spring and fall season the Villages hosts movies at the park in this area as well. Also, throughout the community in the little subdivisions you will find smaller parks, a total of 10 for the residents to enjoy. The Villages at Rancho El Dorado is also home to Butterfield Elementary School, this school is a A+rated school.
As you can see this community has a lot to offer and is great for anyone!! Maricopa, AZ in general has a lot to offer for everyone. Maricopa has many different communities like the Villages at Rancho El Dorado, great public and private schools, Copper Sky Community Park, Province which is 55+ community, golf courses, Ak-Chin and so much more to come. Even though Maricopa, AZ is growing we are still a quieter city with less commotion then the bigger city areas.

The residents living in the Villages In Maricopa have access to a lot of amenities. One of them being a private full gym, key card access needed. This gym includes workout equipment such as elliptical, treadmills, free weights, weight machines, two TV's, a water fountain, a defibrillator and a scale. All of this is accessible to the residents over 16 from 4:30 am to midnight.
Off to the left of the community rec center you will find two full size basket ball courts side by side. The basketball courts are available for residents to use 24/7. The Villages also has two full size tennis courts that are key card accessible. You must be a resident to use the tennis courts but they are also available 9:00am-5:00pm to the residents.
Within the gated community rec center is a beautiful community pool. This pool is open to residents of the Villages via key card access. This community pool is open from 6:00am-10:00pm. The community pool has a picnic BBQ area within the pool area.
Across from the community pool is a gated lap pool. The lap pool is open all year round and is heated. This pool has a couple hours available for free swimming but is specifically used for lap swimming and for exercise. The Lap pool is also available from 6:00am-10:00pm.
Along with housing the pools and playground the rec center has a HOA office, meeting room and a kitchen. The rec center rooms are available for the residents to use if not being used at that time. This area is completed gated and often hosts movies in the park on the big grass area behind the playground.
The playground within the rec center is the biggest out of all the playgrounds in the community and it has a little toddler area as well as the bigger kids playground. This playground not only offers a park but also has a splash pad during the summer months and picnic/BBQ areas for the residents to enjoy. The playground is accessible during the rec center hours which is 4:30am -10:00pm.
