Which Neighborhoods I feel are the most desirable in Maricopa and reasons why!
Best neighborhoods to Live in, Maricopa, AZ
A lot of people ask what is the best neighborhood to live in whenever they are moving to a new city, state or town. It is a valid question...people like to be in desirable areas. I know I always looked for the best areas prior to jumping the gun and moving.
Maricopa, AZ may be a smaller city and does not technically have neighborhoods we are like one big neighborhood in my opinion. But, I would say Maricopa has two more sought after communities in my opinion, Cobblestone Farms and The Villages. All the neighborhoods in Maricopa are great and have so much to offer these are in my opinion the two that are the best.
Now remember this is just my opinion and I will tell you why I feel these two are the best neighborhoods in Maricopa, AZ. Let's start with The Villages. I love The Villages, this community has so much to offer residents. The Villages is the first community on the left right after you initial get into Maricopa. It is close to everything: restaurants, grocery shopping, etc. The community is a large circle that has a school in it and offers a whole recreational center that is for residents only.
At The Villages Rec center you can find a gated community pool and heated lap pool, key locked gym, recreational center rooms for hosting parties/events, a huge playground with grass areas that hosts movies in the park and other fun events depending on the season. This area also has basketball courts and gated tennis courts. The community is a beautiful community and is very welcoming with its small town feel. The two mile circle is great for walking the dog, riding a bike or running for exercise. The Villages has all this to offer with an HOA fee that is affordable.
The elementary school, Butterfield, that is in The Villages is an A+ Rated elementary school with amazing teachers and a great curriculum. There are a total of 10 playgrounds scattered throughout the community. The beautiful lake entrance adds so much character and beauty to the neighborhood as well. The Villages is one of the best not only for all it offers. It is also one of the more easy to get to communities which in turn is easy to get out of Maricopa as well. This is a highlight because it helps with commuting into work or into the Phoenix area if you need.
Cobblestone Farms is another community that I feel is one of the best neighborhoods in Maricopa. This community is on the right at the entrance into Maricopa. The location of Cobblestone is by far the easiest to get out of in the morning when headed to work and the easiest to get home too durning evening traffic hours. Not only is this the most accessible community in all of Maricopa it also has a lot to offer.
Throughout Cobblestone Farms you can find a community pool with a splash pad, 10 tot lots, two large playgrounds, basketball courts, soccer fields, horseshoe pits and a beautiful lake. All of these great amenities are divided into two community recreational areas. The center at the front by the lake is where you can find a basketball court, baseball field and soccer field, BBQ area and a horseshoe pit. The other middle center has the pool with splash pad, horseshoe pits, multipurpose field and two basketball courts. The pool and splash pad are in a gated area but the fields are not only available to the residents. The sports fields can be used by other Maricopa residents or even leagues to arrange sporting events. All you have to do is get in touch with the HOA and get all the details from them for setting up and the rules and regulations.
Having more sports fields available for all Maricopa people is great. Yes we have community parks with fields but they tend to get filled and booked quickly. Cobblestone opens up a huge opportunity for more weekend events and leagues to be created in Maricopa. This beautiful family friendly neighborhood is not only filled with stuff to do but it is the only community that offers houses with basements in Maricopa and they have some of the larger scaled houses and lots in Maricopa, AZ. So many great things about this community no wonder there is rarely any houses for sale.
As I said at the beginning all of Maricopa's neighborhoods are great and offer so many different things to the residents within and in general to Maricopa. The Villages and Cobblestone are the best two neighborhoods in my opinion because of their beauty, easy to access and all the have to offer. Maricopa, AZ is a great city to live in even with the 15-20 minute drive to get into Phoenix. We are far enough away from the commotion of Phoenix city life but we are close enough for anything we may need that we can't get out here. Maricopa is growing everyday and new businesses and companies are making their way out here by the month. I don't see how this city can't grow to be one of the most sought after cities in Arizona.
I know opinions are not always the best when it comes to knowing facts as to why a neighborhood is the best. I have lived in Maricopa since 2006, my parents own a home here and I bought my house in 2010. My parents live in The Villages and I live in Senita. Having been in Maricopa for so long and watching all it has become makes me confident to give my opinion and back it with what I see. It is hard to pick a best neighborhood when you really can't go wrong in the area you ultimately choose when moving to Maricopa, AZ.
