Why You Should Move To Maricopa

There are many awesome areas to live here in Arizona. Honestly, Arizona, in general, is a great state to live in. You get a little bit of everything; forests, lakes, deserts, cities, farmland, and so much more. Arizona is one of the most diverse States I have lived in, and I have lived in a few. Today I am not here to talk about moving to Arizona. I am here to tell you what is so great about Maricopa and why you should consider moving to Maricopa City.

I know a while back, I did a video about living in Maricopa, which is an excellent resource for why Maricopa is a great choice to live in. But there is so much more. Yes, Maricopa is a little way out of the way, but that is not bad. Being outside of the big city, the hustle and bustle are great for many reasons. The city is quieter than the others, it is cleaner, and people are very friendly. These are just a couple things.

Now, you may think I am biased because I live in Maricopa. This may be true, but I love many other cities nearby. I just happen to live here and know the great things about Maricopa. I will go over so many great things, things like; the restaurants, the schools, the places to go, and so much more. I will also tell you a little bit more about the actual real estate market out here!

Let's start with the schools. Schools, to me, are a huge reason why I pick an area to live. Well, it has been ever since we had our daughter. My daughter is now in 3rd grade, and I love the school district here. I know she is only in elementary, but elementary is the key to a successful and healthy education. This is the foundation that starts kids' education. The school, my daughter, goes to is Butterfield. It is an A+ rated school and has been since she began kinder. The teachers are excellent. The district has been on point, keeping us all informed about everything going on (COVID). The communication between the district and the school is fantastic, and the class sizes are not huge. My daughter's class sizes have been around 20-23 students each year. That is not bad at all. I know I don't have a child in Middle school or High School to give hardcore personal facts. Still, I have friends with kids in both, and they say the characteristics from elementary carries over to these schools as well. I also absolutely love all the options for food we have. Everyone has different types of food they like. My two favorite types of food are Italian and Mexican. We have Brooklyn Brother's which is an Italian Restaurant, and their food and service are excellent. I am a huge Alfredo fan, and they have a light portion size that is amazing. I also absolutely love Plaza Bonita!! It is one of my favorite Mexican Food Restaurants I have ever been too. The food is fantastic, the drinks are even better, and the service is top-notch. Before COVID, we went there so much the servers knew my family's drink orders. This place truly makes you feel welcome, and like you are eating with friends. I LOVE PLAZA!! Oh, and if you like steak houses, Chop Block and Brew is delicious. My fiance is not a fan of steak, but even he liked this restaurant. The atmosphere is super laid back and relaxed, and the food is incredible, I love steak, so I love this place for sure.

Maricopa also has a lot of fun things to do! Well, I mean places to go to spend time with family and friends. We have UltraStar, which is so fun. You can go bowling at UltraStar, play arcade games, laser tag, and a movie theater. There are restaurants here and the Luxe Bar, which plays live music some nights. UltraStar has something for all lifestyles. The bowling alley hosts Cosmic bowling and leagues as well. UltraStar connects to the Harrahs Ak-Chin Casino and Hotel also. It is a great place to have family stay when they visit because they can enjoy the cool atmosphere of the casino and the beautiful hotel and plan some family fun time just across the bridge.

We also have a couple fantastic parks. There is Copper Sky recreational center and Pacana Park. Copper Sky has so much to do! There are sports fields, a community pool, fitness center, playgrounds, and a stocked lake year-round with fish. At Copper Sky, you can join clubs, groups, and take an assortment of different lessons. Pacana park also has sports fields, a huge playground, an outdoor fitness area, and a lake to fish in year-round. Both parks are beautiful and open to the public. The sports fields are taken care of and not run down at all, the grass is green, and the diamonds are smoothed out and hose down. You can join leagues and set up your own personal time! These are fantastic places to get active and have some fun!

Maricopa is a very family-friendly city and is still growing. New businesses are popping up all around as the city grows. There are new places to try and new employment opportunities opening up. Now is the time to move to Maricopa before we expand too much. House prices for the size of a house you get out here are excellent. You can get larger homes for better prices then you can in some of the surrounding cities. Now don't get me wrong we have a considerable price range, but that all depends on what you are specifically looking for in a house. Maricopa also has new builds of all styles. This city is growing, and the housing prices will not stay this great for long!
